Replacing a lost or unusable stamp
If a stamp has been lost or has become unusable, a new stamp can be produced in its place.
The procedure differs between the two cases. A lost stamp requires a certificate confirming the loss; a stamp that has become unusable requires the relevant deed and the old stamp itself.
The process for each case is set out step by step below.
If the stamp has been lost — producing a replacement
To produce a replacement for a lost stamp, a certificate confirming the loss of the stamp must first be submitted.
This procedure is required in order to formally record the situation concerning the lost stamp and to properly document the production of a replacement.
Production of the new stamp begins once the certificate has been submitted.
If the stamp has been lost — which documents are required?
The following documents must be submitted:
- an extract from the state register;
- VÖEN details;
- a copy of the authorised person's identity document;
- a certificate issued by the police lost-and-found authority confirming the loss of the stamp and that it has not been recovered.
Once the documents are ready, you may order the production of the new stamp.

Once the certificate has been obtained, the process moves to production of the new stamp.
If the stamp has become unusable — cancellation and replacement
If the stamp has not been lost but is broken, damaged or has otherwise become unusable, the old stamp is cancelled and a new one is produced in its place.
In this case the following must be submitted:
1. Internal deed
A deed is drawn up within the company recording that the stamp has become unusable and that a replacement has been ordered. The deed must be signed by the relevant authorised persons.
2. The old stamp
The unusable stamp must be submitted to Print.az. The old stamp is cancelled on the basis of the deed, in a manner that makes any further use impossible. The new stamp is then produced.
This procedure prevents the old stamp from being used again afterwards.

How to order a replacement stamp
- First establish the situation: whether the stamp has been lost, or is in your possession but no longer usable.
- If it has been lost, obtain the required certificate or entrust the service of obtaining it to Print.az.
- If it has become unusable, prepare the required internal deed and submit the old stamp.
- Place and pay for your order online. The required documents can be uploaded when ordering, or sent to us afterwards via WhatsApp or email.
- Production of the new stamp begins once the required documents have been checked.

Production time is counted from the point at which the required certificate, deed and any other necessary documents have been submitted in full.
The "same working day" option applies to orders for which all required documents have been submitted before 12:00, and is not available on Saturdays.

Can I entrust obtaining the certificate to Print.az?

How long does obtaining the certificate take?
The time taken to issue the certificate depends on the working procedures of the relevant authority and is not determined by Print.az. We ensure the documentation process is carried out as promptly as possible.
Must I submit the unusable stamp?
Yes. The old, unusable stamp must be submitted and cancelled on the basis of the deed, in a manner that makes any further use impossible.
Who must sign the internal deed?
The deed must be approved by persons holding the appropriate authority within the company.
Will the new stamp be identical to the previous one?
A replacement for a lost or unusable stamp is produced on the basis of the information contained in the available documents. If the company's name, its legal form, its VÖEN or any other information shown on the stamp has changed, documents confirming the new information may be required.
What happens to the old stamp?
The old stamp is cancelled on the basis of the relevant deed, in a manner that makes any further use impossible. The new stamp is then produced.
