We print business cards on stock from 300 to 700 gsm. You choose the lamination, the corner style and the quantity, and the price updates as you go. Standard production is 3-5 working days, and orders of 1000 or more carry a 20% discount.
Choosing the weight
300 gsm is the most economical option and is perfectly adequate for everyday use. 350 and 400 gsm feel noticeably firmer in the hand, and this is the range most people choose. 600 and 700 gsm are substantially heavier: the difference registers the moment someone picks the card up. If your card is part of a first impression, that difference is worth paying for.
Lamination options
Gloss lamination makes colours livelier and works well on photographic designs, but it shows fingerprints. Matt does not reflect light and reads as more restrained — you can also write on it with a pen. Soft Touch lamination produces a velvety surface: the difference is noticed by hand rather than by eye.
Rounded corners
Rounding changes the look of the card and has a practical benefit too: a sharp corner soon creases in a pocket or a card holder, while a rounded one stays neat far longer. You can choose between standard and rounded corners when ordering.
Quantity and discount
Most of the cost of printing is preparation — checking the file, setting up the press, matching the colour. That work is roughly the same for 100 cards as for 1000, so the unit price falls as the quantity rises: 10% off at 250, 15% at 500 and 20% at 1000.
File requirements
Send your file as a PDF in CMYK with 3 mm of bleed on every side. Keep important text and logos at least 3 mm inside the trim line. If you do not have artwork ready, design by Print.az costs 20 AZN.
Production and delivery
Standard production is 3-5 working days. Next working day carries a 50% surcharge and same working day 100%. Collection from our office is free, delivery within Baku is 7 AZN, and delivery to the regions is 20 AZN. The turnaround is counted in working days and weekends do not count: an order placed on Saturday with the next-working-day option is ready on Monday. The same-working-day option applies to orders placed before 12:00 and is not available on Saturdays.
Frequently asked questions
What paper weight is best for a business card?
Most people choose 350-400 gsm: firm in the hand and sensibly priced. 600 and 700 gsm give a premium feel. Going below 300 gsm is not advisable, as a thin card bends in the hand.
What is the difference between matt and gloss lamination?
Gloss makes colours livelier but shows fingerprints. Matt does not reflect light, looks more restrained, and can be written on with a pen. Soft Touch gives a velvety surface.
At what quantity does the discount start?
