COP29 Baku 2024 — our print work

COP29, the 29th session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference, took place in Baku in November 2024. Around 80,000 attendees were expected, making it one of the largest events Azerbaijan has hosted.
What we produced
- Azerbaijan's Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC 3.0), the country's climate commitment document. Spiral-bound, carrying the COP29 and Bloomberg Philanthropies logos.
- “The Economics of Water”, a second report published for the conference.
- Folders in the conference identity, and event materials.
Beyond those, Print.az produced a broader range of materials for clients working at the event:
- Accreditation and identification: accreditation badges, lanyards and table name cards
- Venue graphics and wayfinding: banners, roll-ups and directional signage
- Printed information: brochures and catalogues, document folders and certificates
- Delegate materials: notebooks, pens, paper bags and tote bags
- Additional branding: stickers and t-shirts
An official document, and a date that does not move
Work like this is not only about print quality. The document is an official one: the colours have to match an approved reference and the binding has to be clean. Artwork is finalised at different times, corrections arrive while other items are already in production, and the finished run has to reach a secured venue. And the conference date does not move.
